Young Islander Looking For Work

Friday, 27th June, 2008 at 5:22 pm, Isle of Wight

Young Islander Looking For WorkWe’ve had a request in from a young lad who is just finishing his National Diploma at college and is on the lookout for a job. If you think that you can give this guy an opportunity, do get in touch and we’ll pass on your details. Ed

Hi there. I’ve been looking around the Island another job as I have just left my last one and can’t really find anywhere suitable, so I thought I’d contact you to see if you could spread the word and see if you or any of your readers know of any place of work.

I’m a 17 year old male, currently finishing my first year of a National diploma in Health and Social care at the IOW College.

I have just left a busy country pub after being there two years. My job involved “cold chefing” (preparing salads and starters). My other role in the kitchen was at “the window” (as some people call it) where I was given hot food and had to present it on the plates before it going out to the customers.

I have a full UK driving licence, so area isn’t really a problem, but I desperately need a job, as I do like to work, but my car tax is also due! Plus the price of petrol these days.

A pub, restaurant, shop or caring for people. I really don’t mind. I’m willing to learn new skills and I look forward to new challenges.

I’m an easy person to talk to and work with. Please find me a job! Would be so appreciative.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please contact VentnorBlog if you can help.
