Here’s one for all your nature loving types. At the end of the month, Aldermoor Farm plays host to a workshop run by Glennie Kindred, a gifted writer and artist living in Derbyshire.

Wand-making Wisdom from Trees WorkshopThe workshop seeks to reconnect you to the understanding of trees and to deepen your bond to the healing properties of native trees.

She will develop your inner listening abilities and intuitive communication skills to choose, make, dedicate and decorate your own healing wands and touchwoods.

Why not enjoy a peaceful weekend of nearness to nature.

At £125 a throw, not really a bargain. You could, on the other hand, go on a walk in the Botanic on Sunday at 10.30 with the two “main men” and have yourself an education as well as a good laugh with “Harry” Hill and the man on crutches. Cost…….a small donation would be appreciated no doubt!
