The Isle of Wight Rural Community Council have been touch and are keen to publicise an event aimed at encouraging more of us to take part in voluntary community work.
Almost anyone can volunteer! No matter what your age, gender, race, disability or experience, we all have something to offer.
If you pop down to Ventnor Community Projects Café in Albert Street, Ventnor on Sat 29th you can find out why volunteering could be good for you as well as those you help.
Enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee, search the on-line database of local activities and discuss what opportunities are available to match your needs and interests.

Jean-Paul
The Isle of Wight volunteer centre has a number of opportunities for individuals wishing to volunteer. They range from one of events to things requiring a more regular commitment. If you get in touch I will register your details and see what we have that matches your interests. You can also search our on-line database by going to www.iwvolunteer.org and click on volunteering opportunities.
I look forward to hearing from you.
