VentnorBlog Presents … Spied In The County Press
Friday, 15th February, 2008 at 11:55 am, Isle of Wight
Thanks to our great friends, the County Press, for the plug in their Weekender section for our forthcoming art exhibition at the Bonchurch Manor Hotel.
The artists have put a lot into making sure it’s going to be a great show, so we hope you can all make it along on either the Saturday (23rd) or Sunday (24th), to show your support and enjoy the previously unexhibited work by Tania Dixcey, Michael Forrest, Abi MacRobert and Julian Winslow.
Next week we plan to carry profiles of each of the artists in the build up to the event, so you can find out more about them.
Chuckle
We always have a little chuckle when we’re mentioned in the CP, because each time, they seem to have a different way of describing what VentnorBlog is.
Included in the range are descriptions such as ‘chat site’ or ‘community diary’ - don’t mention that word News, for goodness sake. We leave it to others, like the District Auditor for the entire south of the UK, saying that they read it to
“find out what’s really happening on the Isle of Wight”.

I fear that you may struggle with this event on the Saturday, Sal, as it clashes with an open day at the St. Josephs development in Madeira Road.
Thousands of punters are expected to turn up for a free glass of wine.
Sounds a bit like the old Canary Islands timeshare promotions.
Anyone on here thinking of going?
LOL

I have just seen the HSBC Inspector outside 3A.
He did not look happy.
More news on that in a week or so.
BTW Sal, tomorrow IS Saturday, unless you happen to be a planning officer, in which case it could be Monday…….or Thursday
