Ventnor Park: Free Music Venue For Bands

Monday, 28th April, 2008 at 1:46 pm, Isle of Wight

Calling all Island Bands and musical performers.

How would you like somewhere to perform during the summer - for free?

Not only that, but you’ll also (if you have a friend with a large bucket) be able to collect donations from the audience and share the wonga out amongst the band.

Well, The Ventnor Enhancement Fund are offering the bandstand in Ventnor Park for free all through the summer to Island musicians.

We hear that Electro Magnetic Workshop have already confirmed and slots are available every Sunday between 2.30pm and 4pm for you to perform, pick up new fans (and possibly some cash) and generally have fun in the sun.

Why not invite your friends, get them to pack a picnic and enjoy the summer Sundays with live music from their favourite band.

Let us know when you’ve booked a slot and we’ll promote it for free on VentnorBlog. You never know we might even come along and review you!

You’ll need to get in touch with Louis Lawrence by email at louisonwight(at)yahoo.co.uk
or text to 07747 668148. It’s that simple.

Slots are getting booked up so make sure you act fast.

Charity, Music, Ventnor
