Ventnor Lantern Parade

I was only asking a couple of days ago when the lantern procession was due to take place and see from the archives that one year ago today we ran a piece on last years workshops.
We went along to these and made three lanterns, but our daughter’s school play was on the same night as the parade so we couldn’t take part.
We won’t be making that mistake again this year and are glad to see that the two don’t clash.
The parade this year takes place on Friday 21st December and will do the usual route around Ventnor and onto the park where there will be carols and mince pies.
We’ll be bringing you details of when the workshops start very shortly.
