Ventnor Angling Society Raise Cash For Haylands Farm
Monday, 4th February, 2008 at 12:37 pm, Isle of Wight
Last November, the club hosted the 22 hour open competition to help raise funds for Haylands Farm in Ryde.

Well done to the many anglers and sponsors who raised a total of £1000 during the competition.
Last week, a cheque was proudly presented by members of Ventnor’s committee to Haylands.
For those who weren’t aware, Haylands Farm is a centre for learning and work education for people with learning disabilities.
It caters for a range of capabilities and through working in horticulture and agriculture, the clients are able to develop a range of skills at a rate that matches their capability in an environment that is individually designed to support them.
Other club info can be found on the Ventnor angling & social club website.
