VB Forum: Having Problems Logging On?
Tuesday, 9th October, 2007 at 12:31 pm, Isle of Wight
We’ve had email contact from Jo Macaulay that, after 18 months of her initially registering on the VB forum, she’s now found difficulty logging on.
If you’ve had a similar problem, rather than take the approach of telling people that you’ve been barred, just get in touch with us and we’ll get your password reset so you can log in again.

Just checking to see if I can actually leave a comment.
Anger and resentment will only make you unwell. I know this for a fact.
I’m not really sure that I want to get caught up in a debate with people who only think negatively.
For the record, I was born on Island, just South of Newport and I first came to Ventnor in the summer of 1980. It was a beautiful long hot summer and I fell in love with the place, which is why, when I returned to the Island 20 years later, I chose to live here.
It takes time to ease yourself into island living after being in the smoke but it’s well worth the wait.
I am a pacifist and was a hippy so I think Peace and Love are appropriate greetings, but if you don’t appreciate their sentiments I will not proffer them to you again.

I still can’t access the forum, but have now created a new account.
Matching ideals to actions can be a challenge, but one we all face on a daily basis.
I try to stick to two rules:
1. Treat others as you would be treated yourself - very difficult this one
2. Take the plank out of your own eye before trying to extract a splinter from another’s
Neither of these are intended as accusations by the way

Jo, I have just successfully logged on with the details I gave you yesterday. As you said in your email, not being able to logon is because you could not access your email to pick up the new password I sent you, not because of anything at the VB end.
Now you have access to your AOL account, try again, as they do work. Once you’re logged in go to Profile (top of page) and change your password.
