Up to 3,500 People At School Closure Demo

Saturday, 26th January, 2008 at 11:06 am, Isle of Wight

Amazing numbers of people at the Newport school closure protests. Estimates run at between 2-3,500 people - IW Radio are reporting it as the largest demonstration on the Island in living memory.

All very good humoured and a lot of strong feelings in the air.

Audio and Photos to follow.
