Undercliff Drive: Police Called In (Updated)

Joe Duckworth, CEO of the IW Council has asked for the police to get involved in the investigation into the Undercliff Drive, we’ve just heard on IW Radio. We’re on to it and will give you more details when we find them.
UPDATE: We’ve been in touch with the police who have told us
“A file has been passed to the police. They are investigating a complaint by the Isle of Wight Council and are beginning their investigation.”
The Serious and Organised Crime Unit - who are based on the mainland - will be investigating it.
Not being an expert in police matters, we wondered why this crime unit was being used, but were assured by the police that this is normal for council-related investigations.
