Two More Council Officers Suspended

Wednesday, 28th February, 2007 at 6:06 pm, Isle of Wight

News has just reached us (thanks Barbara) that two more officers related to the procurement of High Point Rendel for the Undercliff Drive Scheme have been suspended from the Isle of Wight Council - this time, Steve Matthews, Head of Engineering Services, and Nick Gallin, Principal Highways Services Engineer.

It’s not looking good. The question is, are there going to be any senior officers left at County Hall after this inquiry?

Solent TV will be covering it on their 7pm show tonight.
