The Isle of Wight Film Network continues their programming for the Quay Arts cinema season from Jan - Apr 08 with their chosen theme of Cannes Film Festival award winners.

The Wind that Shakes the BarleyThe Isle of Wight Film Network is an organisation for film professionals on the Island, and for bringing mainland filmmakers to work and shoot here.

Ireland, 1920. Damien (Cillian Murphy) and Teddy (Padraic Delaney) are brothers.

Teddy is the leader of a guerrilla squad fighting for the Independence of his motherland, while Damien, a medical graduate, would rather further his training at the London hospital where he has found a place. However, shortly before his departure, he witnesses atrocities and decides to join Teddy’s resistance group.
