Following the success of The Bluesroom gigs at The Venue in Ryde, and Spring Blues at the Ventnor Winter Gardens, promoters Amen Promotions are spreading their wings and trying out Newport’s newest music venue, The Studio.
They’ve organised a night of live Blues/R&B featuring some of the Island’s top blues bands including The Amen Boogie Band, The Contrabluesband, The Castle Inn All-Star Blues Band and Damian Paul.
Sounds like a great night for blue lovers around the Island.
The Studio has played host to a number of events since it’s renovation. It’s unrecognisable from the old dark days of being ClubK, and having tested it out last Friday, the sprung dance floor is an excellent addition.
It’ll cost you only a fiver to get in. Great value for four bands.
