Why not advantage of this great opportunity to take your family to see this classic Oscar Wilde tale at Quay Arts next month?

The Selfish GiantThis enchanting story is brought to life by the touring puppet company which has taken theatre of animation all over the world for over 26 years.

A simple storyline of a giant who decides to build a very high wall around his garden where the children have always been allowed to play – a bitter winter descends on the garden until finally the Giant’s heart is melted by the actions of a little child.

In this version of the story, shadows interplay with digital projections to create the characters and storyline.

Live concert harp plays throughout, adding lilting melody to give a moving and memorable performance.

“Keep an eye out for this enchanting little show……characterisation was terrific…….. for sheer quality of performance, this new show by artistic director, Luis Z Boy, will surely grow to become a favourite.”
Eve Stebbing - Eastern Daily Press
