The Kurves Raise Cash for Cadets
Wednesday, 21st May, 2008 at 12:04 pm, Isle of Wight
Well done to Island band The Kurves who last weekend took part in another fund rasing gig.
You might remember that a couple of months ago they played a charity gig at the prison, raising money for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
Well we hear that the lads, who are currently on the look out for space in a recording studio, managed to raise £500 last weekend for the Cowes Sea Cadets.
The money will be used put towards a tour to Normandy, as a reminder of the past and to educate the young people.
Well done to The Kurves, your charity work is not going unnoticed.

Indeed, well done the Kurves for your chariteee work. Not only should their good deeds be noted but their excellent musicanship and the standard of the music writing of their lead man Jamie Fineran should be acknowledged. Look out for any upcoming gigs, hopefully they will be playing again before their appearance on the Bandstand at the Bestival. Rock on Captain!
