The Independent Gave Island School Extensive Coverage

Last week we covered the extensive piece that Steve McCormack published in The Independent on the proposed reforms of schools on the Island.
We’d done our reporting of the coverage on the basis of the online version of the article.
Over the weekend, someone was kind enough to give us the actual newspaper (thanks Wendy!).
We were amazed with the prominence that the Indi had given it - not only was it plastered all over the front cover, but the article ran close to a double page spread over pages 4-5.
The Nation’s eyes — educational eyes for sure, and probably a lot more besides — will be on the Isle of Wight this Wednesday.
