The Bench in the Park: Last night tonight

Friday, 27th April, 2007 at 1:26 pm, Isle of Wight

Don’t forget that 16 year old, ventnor lad Jack Whitewood’s play finishes at Medina Theatre tonight,

Jack and the team have received rave reviews from the first night ….

The production was absolutely fabulous and anyone who is looking for a night out tonight (Friday) should definitely go along. Jack’s writing and directing skills are outstanding and the cast and backstage team are brilliant.

So why not go along and treat yourself to a night out at Medina. Show your support for kids who have made an effort to do something creative, positive and productive with their time.

I was also one of the lucky ones who saw the play last night.

Anyone with the opportunity should go this evening. It’s difficult to remember that such a well-structured, well-acted, well-written and moving piece of drama has come from a group of people so young.

I have a feeling that in the future some of us will be pleased to recall seeing Jack Whitewood’s early work. Well done to all concerned.

Absolutely brilliant. I predict a very bright future for this young man.

Brilliantly written and directed. The cast were superb, music, lighting and set fantastic.

I hope you’re all proud of yourselves … you did your families proud.

Just wish I’d got my programme signed!

[...] Jack has many accolades to his name, but you might remember I wrote about him back in April, after seeing his play The Bench In The Park. [...]
