Tea Dance In Ryde

Wednesday, 4th July, 2007 at 2:52 pm, Isle of Wight

Watch out on Sunday for the Tea Dance in Ryde as part of the Ryde Arts Festival.

Tea Dance In RydeThere are plans for a huge dressing up box for the great unwashed (do try to have a shower in the morning if you’re planning to get up close to someone for a tango) to encourage us to take part (and look the part) in the tea dance.

And as if that isn’t enough to get you excited, one bright spark has come up with the idea of Gilbert and Sullivan Karaoke! That will have to be seen to be believed.

Sounds like excellent fun and hats off to the organisers who seem to have lots of brilliant ideas popping out of their heads.

Details of time and location to follow.

Crossed wires there. Tea dance is not on at 8.45, that’s the time that another article referencing this post was published. If you click into it, it’ll make sense.

It’ll be on sometime in the afternoon - still waiting to hear back from organisers.
