We’ve been big fans of Ventnor-based artist and poet, Tania Dixceys work, ever since we first saw her paintings at Shopping Trolley 2005 and again in 2006.
We’re really chuffed to see that she’ll be exhibiting again in January, taking over from Mike Forrest in the cafe at Quay Arts.
Mike’s pieces will be hanging until 5 January, so make sure you get down there soon, if you haven’t been along yet.
If you’ve had enough of turkey this week, they’re serving Smoked Haddock & Cod Fish Cakes today, so you can continue to feast whilst appreciating the handiwork of Mr Forrest!
UPDATE: We drove up to Newport hoping to see this exhibition, but found the gallery was closed. Not too obvious from their website which stated what the meal of the day was and that they only close on bank holidays!
