For all you lot out there who’re into the old hip hop scene, next Sunday evening, the greatest underground hip hop label will be coming to the Island. Yes, it’s true, Stones Throw Records have chosen our fair isle to party on for their 10th anniversary party and it’s going to be stinkin’ (think that means it’s going to be good).
US legends, Peanutbutter Wolf, Percee P, Guilty Simpson, Aloe Blacc and J Rocc will be bringing their might to the Wight! Aided and abetted by legendary locals Cooly Haste, Blank Beats and DJ Claybourne from Jackson Analogue this is most surely going to be a night to remember, and their only UK show outside London, so make you put forward your appreciation.
There’s plenty of room on the ferries for you lot over the water, as the gig finishes at 11am, you can be home and tucked up in bed before midnight - you’ll be as fresh as a daisy for Monday morning.
Take note of the earlier start time of 6pm. Don’t be turning up at 9pm as you’ll have missed half the action.
