STATEMENT ON VENTNOR SKATE PARK FUTURE

Tuesday, 29th April, 2008 at 12:51 pm, Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight Council director of environment and neighbourhoods Stuart Love said “The council is delighted a group has contacted us expressing an interest in taking on the licence to run Ventnor Skate Park.

The group are now working on proposals to bring the park up to safety standards which they will present to the council in the near future.

The council is keen to see facilities maintained instead of having to be dismantled.

Any other groups or individuals who are interested in taking on the licence can still get in contact with the council if they have their own proposals for the park.
