St Catherine’s Charity Shop: Thank You Everyone

Everyone at St Catherine’s would like to extend a warm thank you to Ventnor residents and visitors.
With the kind support of local businessman Graham Perks and his family who loaned us a fabulous shop premises free of charge, St Catherine’s learners, staff and volunteers ran a charity shop during the first two weeks of July.
The shop was amazingly successful.
It provided valuable retail work experience for our learners, helped raise public awareness of the impact of speech, language and communication impairments on young people and though the generosity of all our customers raised nearly £2000.
These funds will support the launch of a new vocational training project for young people with communication disabilities on the Isle of Wight.
Thank you to everyone who supported us.
