Don’t Forget Spring Blues 2007: Ventnor Winter Gardens
Thursday, 15th March, 2007 at 8:00 am, Isle of Wight
Now, I know that there are lots of blues fans in Ventnor, so I hope that you have all bought your tickets for the Spring Blues gig at the Winter Gardens this Saturday (17th) night.
Tickets sales have gone really well, but if you’d forgotten all about it, there’s still time to grab a couple.
Texas Bluesman EUGENE HIDEAWAY BRIDGES and his band will be headlining, and also on the bill are the Island’s renowned Cajun-blues band The Dance Preachers, which includes JC & Angelina and Paul Armfield in the line-up and The Amen Boogie Blues Band, who ‘deliver a unique blend of electric Chicago and Delta blues.’
Tickets will cost you £12 in advance or £14 on the door.
You can get them from the Ventnor Winter Gardens box office on 01983 857581 or Waterstone’s bookshop (formerly Ottakars) in Newport.
Local venues need our support … if you haven’t made plans for Saturday night, treat yourself to a great night out.
