Shoom

Thursday, 28th December, 2006 at 8:00 am, Isle of Wight

19, January 2007 8:00 pmto20, January 2007 2:00 am

Following the successful outdoor parties during the summer on the Isle of Wight, and the indoor party in November, comes the SHOOM launch night - Friday 19th January 2007 - 8pm - 2am.

ShoomTaking over the upstairs of Lake Working Mens Club with lights, lasers, smoke machines, camo netting, projectors, silly masks, a new sound system and lots of free glow sticks - Shoom aims to bring you the same party vibe of the summers festivities - more a party than a club night. And everyone is welcome!!

DJ’s will be playing an eclectic selection of Drum and Bass, Electronica, Old Skool Rave, Psytrance and GabbaGabbaGabba with a healthy layering of Folk, Indie, Rolf Harris, Classic Pop, Funk and everything weird in between.

But it’s not all about the music - there will be plenty of things to do when you’re all raved out - giant blackboard, pens and paper, short films and most importantly: good conversation and cheap drinks!

With visual stimulation from local artists helping to transform the venue into the ideal location, stop moaning about having ‘nothing to do’, get on down and help us make it a night to remember! - they’re even giving out free fruit at the end of the night!

The first party is going to be on Friday the 19th of January from 8pm till 2am at Lake Working Mens club, there will be a small charge, but all the profits are going back into the next events - free inflatable rave toys, bigger soundsystem and more art!

See you there!!

    Yep, it’s still on.
