September Shoom: Cylob Heads The Bill

Ryde Theatre has got some cracking gigs lined up for the remainder of the year and September’s Shoom outing is no exception.

September Shoom: Cylob Heads The BillStep back about fifteen years with legendary DJ Cylob topping the bill. According to the Shoomsters, Cylob had his big break back in 1993 when his demo was picked up by Aphex Twins. His DJ set is guaranteed to rock the dance floor, as he seamlessly mixes acid house and rave classics alongside his own tunes and afx style electronica.

He’s got some monster support lined up with B3nxor spinning his best selection of old skool and dub. LoveGunn and My Friend Jared will both be doing live sets. Ill Al will be getting the punters cutting some shapes with his acid house set. Cooly Haste will be playing electro hiphop, George Cross doing his techno set and with DJ Drut doing a live mashup, it’s going be like 1992 all over again.

The Shoom team plan to change the layout for the night, building their own stages and are hiring in extra sound systems. There’ll be artwork from M1 and N8th and a live visual show.

Entry is for 16+ and tickets will set you back a mere £6 in advance (what a bargain for all that entertainment) or £8 on door. Call The Venue on 568099 to book your ticket now.
