Ryde Arts Festival Parade

The Ryde Arts Festival kicks off tomorrow with an arts parade from 1.15pm.
The parade which leaves Dover Park School and proceeds to the Regatta site at the Eastern Gardens via Union Street will this year include Junkanoo Festival musicians and dancers from the Bahamas.
All absolutely free and once you arrive at the Eastern Gardens you can settle down to watch English Beach Soccer teams battle it out on the pitch for their place in the championships. We’ve just heard that this Beach Soccer tournament is postponed.
There’ll be music, DJs and it’s all free.
The evening of live Island music kicks off at 5pm with The Aviators followed by Wild Oats, Cozy Flashbak, The Arrivals, Apple Beatles, a firework display and the The Chancers.
