Pura Vide - The Best Party of The Year

Are you ready for the party of the year? We hope so.

This New Year’s Eve, Blunt Promotions brings you Pura Vida.

From 8pm to 2am you can dance off all the frustration of the last year and prepare your body for 2008.

It all takes place in a sumptuous marquee just outside our fair Ventnor Town, so means you can walk (or stumble) home.

There’s a cracking lineup of DJs for the night: Fingerlickin’ Jem, Rex the Poodle, The Bees Soundsystem, Live hip hop from Born in a Barn, Sparrow and Ill Al.

There are only a limited number of tickets, so get your skates on if you want to be part of it.

Tickets for this extravaganza are only £10 and available from Kev @ The Local, Pier Street, Ventnor, Barnetts Hair and Beauty, High Street Newport or Revolver, High Street, Ryde.

Over 21s only

was it leagal to charge people to go to this event, surely the music licence law requires no profit on private parties, and there were many under 21s there and underage drinkers….

  3. Wight Lass Says:

It wasn’t a private party Greenman, that was the night before.

  4. The good fairy Says:

Are you sure there were that many underage drinkers, the tickets stated 21 and over, and im sure that if underage drinkers were present it was without the knowlege of the organizers, personally, most people i knew who went were of age, and i cant say there were any Obvious signs of UOD Being present.

  5. Craigy Says:

greenman, you sure you’re not getting the private 21st party mixed up with the licensed over 21 nye party? seems like it to me, I was at the nye party and didn’t see any underage drinkers there.
