Public Consultation Meeting Tonight At Medina School

Thursday, 31st January, 2008 at 2:15 pm, Isle of Wight

Medina High SchoolAll those in the Medina locale, don’t forget that tonight is your chance to go along and question David Pugh, Steve Beynon and Alan Wells on the proposed changes to the schools system on the Wight.

As with all the previous meetings it kicks off at 7pm and lasts about 2 hours.

The first hour consists of presentations by Pugh, Wells and Beynon on why they changes are necessary (we’re still awaiting confirmation from the press office that we can broadcast these presentations from the Ventnor meeting) and the second half is Q&A time.

This part of the meeting is very well managed, with the facilitator fielding the questions well and allowing only for answers to be given and then moving onto the next question without any dialogue or querying the response from the council.
