Positive Council Story: #2 WightBus

Thursday, 24th July, 2008 at 12:10 pm, Isle of Wight

Positive Council Story: #2 WightBusWhether we’re sitting at the desk, in the garden or just enjoying the wonderful views each day, we could easily set our clocks to the Number 31 Wightbus as it trundles past our window.

We’ve used it ourselves to get up to Wroxall, so that we can take a walk back over the Downs (can’t quite manage there and back on foot) and have always found the driver very polite and considerate - particularly for the many elderly folk who use the service to get into town.

The number 16 rail link between Ventnor and Shanklin also gets our vote too.

Hurrah for the WightBus! Another positive story about Isle of Wight Council services.
