Pick Of The VentnorBlog Week

Tuesday, 11th September, 2007 at 12:38 pm, Isle of Wight

Bestival 2007Bestival has been and gone, and as Simon mentioned yesterday, a fantastic time was had by all. We had photographer, Ben Haldenby taking shots for us onsite and look forward, over the coming days, to sharing his perspective of Bestival with you.

Of course, we’ll be putting together our own reviews, but if you went along and fancy sharing your experience with us, send an email to ventnorblog (at) gmail (dot) com.

The selection of music over the weekend was superb and can now be enjoyed in the comfort of your own living room, courtesy of Sunday Best’s latest CD, A to Z Bestival 2007. We have three copies to give away in our latest competition, so get your thinking hats on and send through your suggestion of what our next competition should be.

Other news from last week included final results from White Air, a review of the Ventnor Bay Cafe, run by Besty and Spinky, and of course final results of our Bestival tickets competition. As it turns out, both winners are keen photographers, so we look forward to seeing some of their shots from the weekend too.

Finally, if amongst all the Bestival postings, you missed Debby Robinson’s account of when Gardeners Question Time came to Ventnor, here’s your chance to catch up.
