The price of fuel is causing much consternation.
I heard this today from a friend in London.
He was stuck in a traffic jam going into Central London.
Nothing was moving.
A man came along and knocked on his window.
He rolled down his window and asked, “What’s up? What’s happened, do you know?”
“Terrorists have kidnapped Gordon Brown, Tony Blair and Alistair Darling.” the man replied
“They are asking for a £10 million ransom. Otherwise, they are going to douse them with petrol and set them on fire. We are going from car to car, taking up a collection.”
My friend asked, “On average, how much is everyone giving?”
“About a gallon”.
