PC Pete Appeals For Information
Monday, 30th October, 2006 at 11:19 am, Isle of Wight
Last night at 9.45pm ’some mindless idiot’ walked through town with a hammer and smashed the windows of the Nat West Bank, Hurst and Seasons. All windows, including some beautiful curved glass, will need to be replaced.
This is a digusting act of vandalism and does nothing to support the regeneration of the town - it will only serve to discourage people from setting up shop and we’ll end up with a High Street of empty premises.
PC Pete is on the case and putting out a request for any information, no matter how small. Contact him on either his mobile (07791 146743) or via email peter.melville@hampshire.pnn.police.uk
He’ll appreciate any leads and all information will be dealt with confidentially.
