Open Top Buses Running From Ventnor

Tuesday, 20th November, 2007 at 9:56 am, Isle of Wight

Open Top Buses Running From VentnorIf you’re a fan of open top buses, and you live around Ventnor, all of your Christmases have just come together.

We hear from Stuart George, head of the Island bus users group, that number three bus leaving Ventnor at 8:43 on its trip to Shanklin & Ryde is an open top bus - and it will remain running until next March.

Open Top Buses Running From VentnorFor those who don’t like the idea of shivering on the colder days, or taking an early shower on the wetter days, fear not. We’re told that the covered front section of the upper floor has had a panel and door fitted to keep you indoors.

Those who like the great outdoors are able to open the door to enjoy the elements.
