Open Mic Comedy @ Quay

The monthly Quay Arts Comedy Club has been so successful that Island funny man, Richard Quigley has decided to help set up a new open mic comedy night.

Open Mic Comedy @ QuayEstablished comedian Richard, is inviting new acts to join him on stage where they showcase their talent to a live audience (rather than a dead one?).

The first gig is launched on Friday 19 October with Hannah George, the Island’s ‘princess of comedy’ and Paramount TV student comedian of the year, who will be joining Richard for a slot.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a true ‘open mic’ unless you were able to get up there yourself, so if you reckon you can tell a good good joke or easily make people laugh, get in touch with Richard to book your slot on quiggers(at)onwight(dot)net.

You can also register on the night if you have last minute inspiration.

They’ll also be running a comedy caption competition giving everyone a chance to win some booze.

Performance Time/Date: Fri 19 Oct 8pm Doors 6.30pm
Location: Café/Bar, Quay Arts, Isle of Wight
Ticket Price: £2
Box Office 01983 822490

Comedy, Events, Newport
