Noah’s Ark, owned and run by Steve And Elena Hogg, has been in town since 2001, with the green grocery going for two years now, since the closure of the Crunchy Carrot in Pier Street.

For the last year, Noah’s Ark have focused on supplying locally produced items, such as a selection of apples from the Nuns in Ryde, as well as a wide variety of vegetables from Farmhouse Fayre, including, cabbages, cauliflowers and potatoes.

As well as the fruit and veg, Noah’s Ark supplies loose herbs and spices at fantastic prices. As an example, you can get 100g of herbs or spices for £2.29 instead of the 15g for the same price at the supermarkets.

Over the last year, they have built up their supplies of cooking sauces, including amongst others, Oriental and Eastern European. You’ll also find Island produced jams, chutneys and chocolates on the shelves.

If Steve or Elena don’t stock something that you’re looking for, just ask, they’re very keen to serve Ventnor well and will always try to sources items on request.

Noah’s Ark still also stocks a wide range of foods and accessories for all sorts of pets as well as compost, bulbs and bedding plants for the garden.

You will find Noah’s Ark in Ventnor High Street just a few yards from the Central Car Park. There is also limited time parking, (30 minutes) in the High Street, opposite the shop.
