No Man’s Land Fort: Guess The Price

For all of you with a few quid in your pocket rattling around, fancying a des res just off the Island, The Daily Mail is covering the sale of No Mans Land Fort, in the Solent.

We knew it was up for sale, but the price was unclear. No longer, as Rachel Halliday, spokesperson for administrators dealing with the sale, KPMG, told the Daily Mail: “We are letting people express an interest in the property before we invite offers for it, but is expected to fetch up to £4 million.”
Why’s KPMG dealing with it? Have they moved into the despicable trade of estate agency? No, they’re handling the crash of the business that owned the Victorian-built fort, leaving £100m in debts.
So if you’re think of “expressing an interest,” you know who to contact.
