New Features On VentnorBlog: Updated

Monday, 14th January, 2008 at 10:58 am, Isle of Wight

We’re finally get back into the swing of things after our extended Christmas break and Simon has been busy adding extra features to the Blog.

Following a suggestion on the forum from Starheliomos, we’ve added the ability to skip through stories simply by clicking on links at the head of the piece (pictured).

New Features On VentnorBlog

It isn’t a feature we had on the old design, but one that we agreed was important to integrate. It’ll avoid you having to go back via the home page when you want to read through several stories in one sitting.

You’ll also see the reinstatement of ‘Forum Chat’, which allows you a fast and direct link to discussion on subjects that might interest you.

Finally, on the far right, you’ll notice that we’ve reinstated ‘Previous Years’ - unfortunately it’s empty today, that’s because in the last two years, the 14th fell over a weekend, and we all need some time off. There should be some pieces in there tomorrow and we’ve allowed up to three articles per year to be displayed.

We have more new features coming soon, but if there’s something that you think we might’ve missed and would like to see integrated into VentnorBlog, do let us know.

Update: He’s at it again and has just added links to the most commented posts.
