Monday’s Town Council Meeting

Friday, 10th August, 2007 at 1:32 pm, Isle of Wight

13, August 2007
7:00 pmto8:00 pm

Thanks to our Town Council correspondent Mark, for sending though info on the upcoming meeting next Monday.

Members of the public are welcome at these meetings, where you can hear all issues relating to Ventnor being discussed by Councillors. You will also be able to ask questions of the Councillors during the public question time at the beginning of the meeting.

The meeting starts at 7pm on the dot, best to arrive earlier as there may be a chance to view plans of any planning applications being discussed. There has been a request that these are placed out on the tables half an hour before the meeting, so that any member of the public attending can see what the Councillors are discussing.

This Monday, Simon Dennis and Alex Hicks from Safer Neighbourhoods Team will be presenting on CCTV for Ventnor.

Susan Scoccia will be naming the Mayors Charity to be supported for the year and the Grants awards will be announced.

If you’re interested in the decisions that are made about the town, take some time out on Monday evening and head down to the Winter Gardens for 7pm sharp. Meetings normally held upstairs.
