Making Waves is back again this week and this time features old favourites Cozy Flashbak.

Cozy FlashbakThey’ve been getting some good airplay on IW Radio recently and have a loyal following on the Island.

Also up, will be The Ladykillers. Have to admit, we’ve not seen them play live before, but you can check them out on MySpace.

Coming from over the water (probably not in a Chinook though) will be Wilfy Williams, who is travelling over from Southsea to take part. He had a successful gig recently at the Liquid Lounge as part of the Development Sessions and was very well received on the Wight.

According to a release just out from The Venue, Blacksmith have been added as a last minute addition to the lineup.

As usual all bands will be recorded and interviewed - check out Live and Local on Sunday night between 7-10pm on Isle of Wight Radio 102/107fm.

Entry is just £3 and your support is needed to help keep this great music venue open.

No Blacksmith I am afraid. They should be coming down later in the season though.
