Lost And Found: Any Bedfords Out There?

Friday, 11th January, 2008 at 9:00 am, Isle of Wight

We often receive emails from people from around the world looking for specific information about Ventnor or searching for distant relatives.

 Royal Marine Hotel

Yesterday was no exception with the following email arriving all the way from Canada.

I recently discovered that my mother, who worked at the Royal Marine Hotel, gave birth to my oldest sister at the Royal Marine Hotel, Ventnor in 1910.

My mothers name Dora Gertrude Bedford, my sisters name Doris Gertrude Bedford.

If there is anyone who knew of the name Bedford and is possibly a relation, please contact me.

If you are, or happen to know a member of Bedford family, please get in touch and we’ll pass on your details to Sybil.

History, Ventnor

Don’t forget the IOW Family History Society

It’s likely that there is someone there with similar interests.
