Live Coverage of Planning Meeting

Simon will be taking his place on the press table at County Hall this afternoon, to provide live coverage of the proceedings of the Planning Committee which starts at 4pm.
Of course, being considered this afternoon is the Cheetah Marine application to remove the the obligation to provide a harbour master’s office in perpetuity.
With the public consultation period finishing officially on Friday, we’ve been told by someone who follows planning cases closely, that this is the fastest a case has been known to go to Planning Committee after public consultation in the last six years.
Ventnor Town Councillor, Debby Robinson will be speaking on behalf of the town’s interests.
