went over for the scooter rally and the free festival was a great addition to a fab weekend thanks!!!

It was really nice to see loads of locals in Hipshaker on Sunday (even if they were really drunk) shows that its not an elitist event and anybody can enjoy it.

The new bit went very well despite my scepticism and well done to Steve Robson for a job well done..can’t see him getting past the council next year though

  3. kj Says:

It apears we have a rift in the scootering fraternity…a hell of a lot of people complaining about ‘that thing on the green’ and fewer people saying its a good thing.

The balance would be to do it next year but somewhere different…more of Radio Dyke tomorrow

  4. Andy Says:

I was there… and mid afternoon both saturday and sunday had about 700-800 enjoying some good quality free live music.

    What’s their to complain about?

  5. Billy from Harrogate Says:

well done to who ever organised it .it makes a change having a free event at the rally and Bang bang lulu,s performance was great

  6. kj Says:

I am in full agreement…lets see how this one develpoes…expect bad press via scootering

  7. DJ Says:

The “free festival” at ryde ruined my weekend. The bloke who organized just wants to take from the already over charged scooterists visiting for the weekend. to see what i mean visit the v.f.m. website and click on the news icon.
