Kelly Sotherton: Sports Personality of the Year?

Chris Charles at the BBC sport yesterday made his predictions for who may be crowed Sports Personality of the Year 2008 and it’s great to see that Newport lass, Kelly Sotherton is being given a 9-1 chance of picking up the trophy.
As Chris puts is “she would become the biggest news in the Isle of Wight since Jimi Hendrix wowed them at the 1970 rock festival.”
We wish Kelly the best of luck in the Beijing Olympics when she flies the flag for not only GB but the isle of Wight too.
