If you’re a jazz fan, Quay Arts Jazz Cafe have a treat for you next week.
Accomplished jazz singer, guitarist and songwriter, Kaz Simmons brings her band to the Island on Friday 9th November to perform in Newport.
Having listened to some of the tracks on her MySpace, she doesn’t have typical jazz vocals, her approach is really fresh and sounds great.
Kaz has released two well-received albums, writing and performing classy, individual compositions on vocals and guitar as well as breathing new life into jazz classics.
She’ll be performing pieces from her most recently released album Different Smile.
