Jazz Jam Session @ Quay Arts

If you are a musician who loves jazz, or want to try something new, why not head down to Quay Arts in a couple of weeks time?

Jam Session @ Quay ArtsIsland jazzers, The Phoenix Trio [Peter Trueman (piano/composer), Mike Whitehead (bass) and Bill Wills (drums)] will be hosting a night for lovers of modern jazz, encouraging creative improvisation on Tuesday 13 November.

It’ll only cost you £2 and the session offers the opportunity for all you musicians to take along your instruments to join in the jam. If you don’t fancy playing, just sit back and listen.

    Just called them and they don’t have their own drum kit, so might seem unlikely. The Trio may be bringing their own.
