Isle of Wight On BBC’s Country File: Video

Tuesday, 13th May, 2008 at 1:31 pm, Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight On Country File: Watch VideoThe Isle of Wight featured pretty heavily on Sunday’s Country File on the BBC.

They covered the Island becoming Eco-Island (start of the prog); the walking festival, in particular the speed dating (at about 54:10) ; interviews with Vesta’s boss about wind farms and our Dear Leader, David Pugh (20:30).

Watch it after the jump

There’s also an interesting feature on a North Devon village, Clovelly, which can only be reached on foot (at about 24:30).

After some technical jiggery pokery, we’ve got the BBC iPlayer video embedded into VentnorBlog for your delectation. Sweet.

The BBC limit their content to 7 days of availability, so you’ll have to watch it before next Sunday.

Thanks for JayDub and AppleBanana for the story tip!
