Island Young Artists At Saatchi Gallery
Thursday, 6th March, 2008 at 11:08 am, Isle of Wight
It’s not just Quay Arts who have artistic creations by Isle of Wight students adorning their walls.
Little did we know when hosting VentnorBlog Presents … at the Bonchurch Manor Hotel that such artistic talent was right under our noses.
We hear from proud parents of Medina High School student, Ananya Middleton-Rao that her work has been selected, along with other students from the Island to be displayed in none other than the Saatchi gallery in London.
Wow, what an amazing accolade.
Being a year 10 student, Ananya is the youngest from Medina to have her work selected.
There are other Ventnor students among in the list of those chosen, including year 12 student, Mhairi Macaulay.
We also see from the online portfolio works submitted by talented students from St George’s School.
Well done to you all and keep up the good work.
