In the Spotlight - Back In Town

Monday, 2nd July, 2007 at 1:08 pm, Isle of Wight

It has been many a year since an evening show has been run throughout the summer season at The Winter Gardens, but this year will be different.

In the Spotlight - Back In TownIn The Spotlight is the latest production from the Ventnor Theatre Group. You’ll recognise the name from previous plugs on the Blog and posters around town. It’s first and very successful run was at the beginning of June and after receiving such glowing reviews, they’ve been asked back again to continue the show throughout the July and August.

This show really is amateur theatre at it’s very best, with a talented company of over 60 singers and exceptional musicians. There’s something for everyone, with songs from the West End and Broadway, including Chicago, Hair, Moulin Rouge, Buddy, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Oklahoma, Sound of Music, Mamma Mia, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cabaret and more!

Tickets are a snip at just £5.00 each. If you would like to buy yours, call 01983 730674 or 730111. Tickets can also be purchased from Magical Wanderings in the High Street, or from the Winter Gardens on the door.

The show will run on Tuesday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st July, and the 7th, 14th and 21st August, starting at 7.30pm.

Please offer your support, not only to the theatre group but also your local venue.
