I Want One Of These: Norwegian Cycle Lift

OK, this I really like.
Some friends of ours mentioned a site called Stumble Upon (thanks S&J) to me this morning, so I thought I’d check it out.
Somehow, I ended up on a page about a bicycle lift that has been built in Norway and thought how cool that would be to have in Ventnor.
I guess the only problem is that I’m not sure if it goes round bends. It looks like you stick your foot into a brace and get pulled up the hill.
Judging from the lady with the pushchair (see below), you don’t have to be on a bike to use it.
