Final Call For Meta4 Tonight
Wednesday, 27th February, 2008 at 7:00 pm, Isle of Wight
Yikes, almost forgot about the Meta4 gig tonight at Rookley Jazz Club.
The Sax Appeal gig was fantastic, proving this venue to be the perfect location for live music.
It was packed to capacity last time and we hope that it will be the same tonight.
Meta4’s style is decribed as “european improvised jazz crossed with latin rhythmical influences”, the band features composer/pianist Bob Plimer and as well as top British saxophonist Gary Plumley.
Alex Black (bass) and Ken Black (drums) make up the quartet who are sure to perform in their own eclectic rhythmic style.
Tickets are £13.00 if paying on the door.
Doors open at 7.30pm and gig kicks off at 8.30pm.

Wish I could have seen Meta4 last night, went along to the Sax Appeal gig after reading it on here, but had to work last night. Agree that the venue is great for these type of gigs and look forward to hearing about future events.
